Drove over 1000 miles Saturday and Sunday, and made it back to grad school land. It's -20 windchill out there. I can't really say I'm pleased, but everything's unpacked and I am become human again instead of a driving machine, so that's awesome.

It's been a while since I posted! I am alive. Wrote this over the summer, when I was rereading the Alanna quartet prior to gifting all of my Tamora Pierce books to one of my cousins. I was, uh, really struck by the fact that no one had written Jonathan/Thom. Just got back from five-ish days without real internet: planning on dealing with comments and things momentarily. But I just finished reading another Hornblower book, and I'm trying to sort through how I feel about the series, so I thought that now would be a good time to make a post about that.
